DRAFT — pending legal review
Privacy Policy
Effective draft version: 2026-07-16. Get Less Angry is practical wellbeing support for calmer routines and repair language. It is not medical advice, therapy, crisis care, legal advice, or an emergency service.
Emergency and crisis line
If you may harm yourself or someone else, call local emergency services now. In the US or Canada call or text 988. In the UK and Ireland contact Samaritans on 116 123. Elsewhere, use your local crisis line.
What we collect
We may collect email address, plan choice, checkout intent, purchase status from payment providers, support messages, survey responses, quiz categories, product interaction events, UTM tags, approximate country, and consent records. We ask you not to submit private family stories, medical details, legal details, names of children, or emergency information.
Wellbeing data
Because the product concerns anger, emotional regulation, repair, routines, and family stress, category-level inputs may be health-adjacent or sensitive. We use explicit consent before wellbeing forms and store only the practical category needed to route the product experience where possible.
Why we use data
We use data to deliver free and paid digital products, open secure checkout, provide support, remember lawful consent choices, improve the product, understand funnel performance, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary storage keeps the site working and records consent. Optional analytics and marketing are controlled by the consent banner and Cookie settings link. EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada visitors are treated as prior opt-in for non-essential tracking. Global Privacy Control is honored as an opt-out for analytics and marketing.
Providers
The launch may use Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend or Brevo, PostHog, Formbricks, Payload, RevenueCat for native apps, app stores, and social or advertising platforms when configured. Provider use must match this policy and the current consent state.
Retention
Consent records are kept while needed to prove the current choice. Checkout and accounting records are kept as required for payment, tax, refund, and fraud-prevention obligations. Product analytics are kept in aggregate or pseudonymous form and reviewed for deletion or minimisation as the product matures.
Your choices and rights
You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer, opt out of optional analytics and marketing, request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent, and ask support questions through the contact page. Some purchase records may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
Security and breach handling
We use least-necessary collection, secret management, masked inputs, and privacy-safe event filtering. We do not rely on an Australian small-business exemption for the policy stance. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm and the law applies, we will assess notification duties, including the OAIC Notifiable Data Breaches scheme where relevant.
Children and households
The product is for adults. Do not submit personal information about children or other household members. Use category choices instead of names or private stories.
International visitors
The site is available globally. We apply the stricter opt-in tracking pattern where required or when location is uncertain, and we keep legal review pending before scaling paid traffic internationally.
